After graduation from Bergen I moved back to Tartu, my home town. I was working at the Institute of Computer Science, University of Tartu. From Autumn 1999 until Spring 2002 I am in England at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Bath, working on a project Parallel Methods for PDE Eigenvalue Problems. I am also working on the DOUG code. (Domain Decomposition On Unstructured Grids.)

My address: Department of Mathematical Sciences, Bath University, Claverton Down, Bath, BA2 7AY, United Kingdom

I was (until 31. december 1996) stipendiat at Para//ab, - Laboratory for parallel computing, taking my PhD in informatics. I defended the degree in Bergen on May the 14th 1997. The title of my thesis is "Robust Additive Schwarz Methods - Parallel Implementations and Applications" and can be obtained here.

My research work is related to parallel processing in numerical mathematics, Domain Decomposition method, inverse problems and parallel eigenvalue problems. Some preprints are available.

I come from Estonia.

I was born in Tartu. I graduated from the University of Tartu where I studied mathematics in 1981-1986. Then I continued as postgraduate student in Moscow at the Institute of Control Problems. There I took my degree in 1990. After that I was working in Estonia for a software company and taught informatics at the University of Tartu. I was in Bergen from 1993.

Here you can find some pictures about two adventurous ski trips I have been to.
