The course comprises different methods for sequence and structure analysis in bioinformatics, e.g. multiple sequence alignment, scoring matrices, profiles, Hidden Markov Models, patterns and motifs, gene prediction, and protein structure analysis.

Lectures

First lecture: 16 January.
Last lecture: 11 May.

The lectures are given in English.

Assignments (øvinger)

Regular exercise sets will be given. One mandatory assignment will also be given during the term.

When needed, help with the exercises will be available Mondays from 14:15 in room 2104.

Exam

Final oral examination: May 23.
Passing the compulsory assignment is required in order to take the exam.
