Short Biography

Cagatay Turkay is a PhD candidate in Visualization Group at Department of Informatics in University of Bergen, Norway. He recieved his MS. degree in Computer Science in 2009 from Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey, and since 2010 he works as a PhD candidate at UIB.

His reasearch mainly focuses on the tight integration of interactive visualizations, data analysis technqiues and explorative knowledge/capabilities of experts. He has a special interest in high-dimensional, temporal data from bioinformatics and biomolecular modelling domain.
