Gisle Nes: Mixed volume/mesh rendering using Depth Peeling

Abstract
The idea for this project was to make a renderer-plugin for Volumeshop that can mix semi-transparent meshes with the volume. Depth Peeling was used to cope with the problems that would occur with concave objects. One can choose to render the volume inside the mesh, or use the mesh as a cutting device. The material of both the inside and the edges of the mesh can easily be changed in the user interface. Any obj-models can be imported, but the mesh has to be closed to get proper results.
