Parallel Algorithms for Combinatorial Scientific Computing

The ParComb project aims to develop parallel algorithms for various problems arising from combinatorial scientific computing (CSC). CSC is the area in the intersection between discrete algorithms and scientific computing where traditional (discrete) algorithm development is applied to large scale problems arising in various application areas.
Since the source problems are often run on parallel computers it is only natural that the CSC algorithms also should run in parallel. This is the object of the current project.
