How to get there:
This trailhead is located at the end of a nice paved road, there is a large
parking area as well. The location is N42.39570, E2.07728, elevation about 1990 meter.
Route description:
The paved road continues into the valley, but is reserved for pedestrians and cycles. In fact,
the paved road climbs a couple of switch-backs to give some extra elevation for people cycling.
The climb is very gentle, walk along the road about 1.3 kilometer, then continue straight where the
road curves right. Continue straight ahead, still very gentle. After crossing a small creek, the next
thing to look for is a small road that runs across your path, follow this a short distance right, then
find the trail that runs straight uphill. Follow this trail to the summit.
Comments:
I started at 0920 and arrived at the summit at 1100. It was quite windy, so after a few minutes, I descended
to a slightly more sheltered area and had some water. Quite a popular peak, many people out here on a Sunday.
After a combined rest of 15 minutes, I descended back down to my car in one hour, there at 1215. A short drive
back to Andorra in time for lunch with Heidi at 1400.
