How to get there:

The natural point of reference is the city General Santos. This city has both domestic and international flight connections. The trailhead is located near the end of a local mountain road serving a small, local farming community, near location N6.34940, E125.04201, elevation about 1040 meter. There is a basic accommodation located here.

I did this climb with Rob and Deividas. The trip was organized by Albert at Mtapoadventures, a small trekking company based in Davao.
We traveled from Davao to the trailhead in the afternoon the day before and stayed in the accommodation at the trailhead. Starting quite early (logistics reasons), we were walking already at 0315.
