How to get there:
This peak is essentially a drive-up. Locate Hwy. D-113 (from the south) or
Hwy. D-53 (from the north-east). Drive to the highest point
near location N44.11903, E5.80198, elevation about 1740 meter. There is a turn-out
for parking on the south side of the road.
Route:
Follow the obvious trail
directly uphill to the summit.
There are 2 fenced in communication areas, but luckily, the
highest point is located between these with full and easy access.
Comments/Trip Report:
I had been visiting Ventoux and decided
to also visit this peak as part of my excursion from the village
of Gordes.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the high point was outside of
the fence. It is the trailsign pole or
possibly another point a short
distance away along the fence.
