How to get there:
This is a short, easy hike. A road called Sirikjerkeveien starts at location
N59.71716, E9.86848, take this road. After a few curves, there is a toll gate.
You need a credit card to pay here, NOK 60 in 2023. Continue to drive this very
nice dirt road. After quite a bit of distance you will arrive at a clear fork where
the two forking roads have the same good quality. Turn (sharply) right here and continue
to the trailhead at location N59.69730, E9.94078, elevation near 530 meter. There is
a small parking area on your right hand side of the road.
Route:
The signed a well marked trail starts on the
opposite (left) side of the road.
Follow the pretty nice trail to the summit.
There may be a couple of wet sections,
but normally, one should be able to walk around, so one
may get to the summit
with jogging shoes, without getting wet feet.
Comments:
I made a quick visit here whie driving from Dalen in Telemark to Bærum outside of Oslo.
I left my car at 1240 and arrived on the nice summit at 1300.
A 10 minute break for some views,
then returning to the car in 15 minutes.
