INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Submissions must not substantially duplicate work that any of the authors has published in a journal or a conference/workshop with proceedings, or has submitted/is planning to submit before the SUBMISSION DEADLINE (EXTENDED TO JUNE 19, 2009) to a journal or other conferences/workshops that have proceedings. Accepted submissions may not appear in any other conference or workshop that has proceedings. Anonymous submissions are optional - i.e. the authors can choose whether or not they want to include their names on the title page of their submission.

Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference.

Visas: It is strongly recommended that authors apply for visas at time of submission. Do not wait for the decisions.

SUBMISSION FORMAT:

* Please visit the following web page to upload your electronic submission: https://secure.iacr.org/websubrev/ccc2009/submit/

* The length of the submission should be at most 16 pages excluding bibliography and appendices, and at most 24 pages in total. It should be in single column format, use at least 11-point fonts, and have reasonable margins.

* The submission should begin with a title and a short abstract. The introduction should summarize the contributions of the paper at a level appropriate for a non-specialist reader. The introduction should also give motivation for the results and indicate why the paper makes a research contribution. Committee members are not required to read appendices; the paper should be intelligible without them.

* Papers must be submitted electronically by - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 19, 2009, 23:59 GMT.

* Proceedings versions of papers must be prepared using Latex and using the lncs class, so authors are strongly recommended to use this system for their submissions.

* Submissions should be in PDF format (i.e., a .pdf file).

* Submissions not meeting these guidelines risk rejection without consideration of their merits. Neither late submissions nor hardcopy submissions will be accepted. Authors unable to submit electronically should contact the program chair.
